Job Role:
We are in search of a Software Engineer to join our Data Ingestion team within the Analytics Data organization at Autodesk. The Data Ingestion team plays a vital role in processing an astonishing 100 billion events and a staggering 250TB of data daily from all Autodesk products. As a Software Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in enhancing critical data processing and analytics pipelines, finding solutions to engineering challenges, and making data more accessible to our users.
Detailed Information about Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to address scalability and latency challenges.
- Embrace a product-focused mindset to understand requirements and develop systems to meet evolving needs.
- Diagnose and solve issues in distributed systems, document technical solutions, and iterate quickly to deliver improvements.
- Initiate and complete projects aimed at enhancing the user experience.
- Drive data-driven approaches, contribute to systems design, and implement software solutions.
- Review code developed by colleagues, offering feedback to uphold best practices.
- Automate cloud infrastructure, services, and observability.
- Develop Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and testing automation.
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- 2-5 years of design and development experience.
- Proficiency in Java and AWS platform.
- Coding skills in rich web application development with JavaScript (ES6 standard), HTML5, CSS, and React JS.
- Experience with API development best practices.
- Familiarity with open-source projects like GitHub, Redis, Puppet, Terraform, Swagger, Spinnaker, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to work on resilient distributed systems across multiple data centers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent training or work experience.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent training or work experience will also be considered.
Experience Requirement:
You should have 2-5 years of design and development experience, particularly in Java and AWS platform.
