As a Specialist Design Engineer at BT, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing solutions in Core Java technologies with a focus on leading from an engineering perspective.
- Conducting technical code reviews, designing patterns, and framework development.
- Driving and validating technical and functional designs, leading them through implementation.
- Building technical frameworks across Inventory, Provisioning, and Plan & Build areas in the Telco OSS Software Platform.
- Providing analysis and metrics for technology decisions and guiding the team in building new frameworks and tools.
- Analyzing complex problems and proposing high-quality solutions.
- Mentoring junior developers and freshers.
- Understanding the needs of multiple projects and effectively communicating them across divisions.
- Adapting to new and emerging technologies to address challenging requirements.
