Job Description:
Are you a passionate Software Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to work in the Warranty Services team? This role offers an excellent chance to not only expand your knowledge of Java and Spring Boot but also gain valuable insights into the business domain.
Selection Criteria:
- Proficiency in Java with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design concepts.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems like GitHub, build automation tools like Jenkins, and testing frameworks such as JUnit.
- Familiarity with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) environment.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
- Experience working with SQL/PSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Struts or Spring MVC framework.
- Exposure to WebSphere application server.
- Web Services Design and Development experience.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methods and User Stories creation.
Qualifications:
- B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or related field.
- MCA (Master of Computer Applications) qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Develop software solutions using Java and IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ.
- Utilize various software delivery tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Cucumber, Gradle, Eclipse, IntelliJ, and SonarQube to ensure high-quality code and efficient development practices.
- Learn and apply cloud-based computing technologies, particularly PCF, for code deployment and server scaling on demand.
- Work in an Agile development environment using Rally for iteration planning, story creation, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with team members to share and gather technical knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements for the existing dealer-facing application.
- Write code for dealer-facing application modules and develop web services using Java.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Computer Science or a related field.
- Master’s degree (MCA) in Computer Applications.
