Detailed Information about Role and Responsibilities:

As a Process Developer – Actuarial at Genpact, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting data-intensive tasks such as compilation, validation, reconciliation, manipulation, and transformation to prepare data for analysis.
  • Allocating data acquisition/enrichment, calculation, and reporting production tasks to support pricing and reserving activities, ensuring strong quality control.
  • Performing preliminary pricing and reserving analyses while ensuring data accuracy and readiness for actuarial modeling.
  • Executing routine tasks using actuarial software and Excel templates, maintaining data accuracy for actuarial analyses.
  • Validating data based on established processes, reviewing data trends, and generating actuarial reports. Making adjustments and improvements to templates and data when necessary.
  • Independently completing projects with some supervision and compiling reports or exhibits with a supervisor’s review.
  • Measuring the performance of actual vs. plan, conducting initial analysis, identifying drivers, and flagging events for further investigation of unfavorable trends or data discrepancies.
  • Preparing technical documentation for actuarial analysis.
Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business, Risk Management, or a similar field.
    • Completion of 1-2 CT series exams from the Actuarial Institute of UK/India or equivalent exams from the Society of Actuaries (USA) is preferred.
    • Knowledge of VBA/SQL.
    • Relevant years of business experience in an international (re)insurance company or in the financial business.
  • Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:
    • Proficiency in MS Excel.
    • Ability to work occasional extended hours and travel for business.
    • Strong communication and articulation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong business and collaboration skills.
    • Effective time management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly developed problem-solving abilities.
