Detailed Information About Role and Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer on Grab’s Transaction Platform team, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing Grab’s Order Platform. This platform supports the rapidly growing Transport, GrabFood, and GrabMart businesses across online and offline channels. Here are some of the key responsibilities and activities you will be involved in:
- Coding with Cutting-Edge Technology: You will work with the latest GO language to enhance the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Grab’s services.
- Code and Design Reviews: Participate in code and design reviews to maintain Grab’s development standards and ensure code quality.
- Performance Analysis and Optimization: Engage in service capacity and demand planning, software performance analysis, tuning, and optimization to ensure the platform’s efficiency.
- Collaboration: Partner with other engineering teams to explore and create new designs and architectures geared towards scalability and performance improvements.
- Feature Development: Collaborate with product and experience teams to define and prototype feature specifications.
- Infrastructure: Work closely with the infrastructure team to build and scale backend services and perform root cause analysis investigations.
- System Building: Design, build, analyze, and fix large-scale systems to support Grab’s growing business.
