3. Detailed Information about Role and Responsibilities

As a Trainee in Bank Card Admin at Saks, your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling customer disputes and inquiries related to credit card transactions for third-party credit cards and private label cards.
  • Ensuring adherence to Sales Audit and Bankcard policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Analyzing and researching discrepancies and exceptions in the process.
  • Collaborating with a global team to manage processing backlogs and expedite resolutions.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting on chargebacks and related costs.
  • Responding to store inquiries, including resolving escalated issues.
  • Completing accurate and comprehensive accounting activities for bankcards at banners.
  • Protecting company assets by following policies, procedures, and regulations related to bankcard administration and processing.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (Full-time)

5. Experience Requirement:
  • 0-3 years of work experience in Accounting with MNCs/GICs, with a preference for the Retail industry.
  • Experience in Oracle ERP (Oracle Fusion Preferred) and bank card processing systems (TD, Amex, Chase, Paypal, etc.).
  • Medium to strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated expertise in the design and implementation of financial processes and technology.
  • Working experience in Card processing, including chargeback processing and analytics, card processing administration.
  • Basic knowledge of banking principles and cards-related businesses and revenue generation areas are preferred.
