- Mastery of networking concepts including L2 (Ethernet, VLAN, Bridges, STP), L3 (IP, IPv6, ARP, ICMP), and L4 (TCP, UDP).
- Knowledge of network management (SNMP, XML, NMS, EMS).
- Hands-on kernel programming skills with a deep understanding of operating systems, particularly Linux/FreeBSD.
- Proficiency in microprocessor/network processor programming is advantageous.
- Familiarity with scripting (Python) and database technologies.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting capabilities for complex system and solution-level problems.
- Self-motivated, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
