Detailed Information about Role and Responsibilities
As an Application Engineering Intern at SEL, your essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing support for communication/automation/protection test beds.
- Conducting testing on existing and new technology.
- Documenting test bed activities and results.
- Supporting Sales, Customer Service, and product development activities related to communication/automation/protection.
- Assisting applications engineers in developing best practice application guides for SEL technology, ensuring secure and compliant solutions.
- Continuously identifying, measuring, and improving processes.
- Following and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
- Embracing a culture of understanding, creating, and simplifying.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Current student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
- Ability to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
- Capacity to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Satisfactory results in a background check conducted by SEL.
- Negative drug test result(s).
