Role and Work
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including but not limited to Receipts/Payment, Accounts payable/receivable, Sale invoicing, Purchase Invoicing, Expense process, General ledger recon, Revenue & Expenditure Analyzing, Debtor & Creditor reconciliation.
- Assisting the consultants in providing the details for filings of GST, Income tax returns etc.
- Assisting the consultants in providing the details for assessment under various laws
- Handling the payroll process, providing the monthly payroll inputs, calculation of sales commission, review of employee reimbursements, handling payroll related queries.
- Posting daily accounting entries in ERP.
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information along with depreciation & amortization.
- Prepaid & Provisions process on a monthly basis.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Filing of TDS, PF, PT, ESI and GST returns on a periodic basis.
- General Ledger Reconciliation.
Requirements
- MBA fresher or Bcom with 0-1 year of prior experience in accounting and compliance.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office especially MS Excel.
- Prior experience in working with accounting software like Zohobooks and Quickbooks.
- Knowledge of advanced accounting principles, Statutory laws, etc
