Job Description
Cognizant is looking for passionate and talented individuals to join our team as Software Engineers in Bengaluru. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting new community members, ensuring smooth performance management, and driving operational processes within your community. Your responsibilities will include mentoring team members, updating skill profiles, and actively participating in community engagements.
Responsibilities
- Provide logistical support to new community members, helping them settle into their roles.
- Resolve conflicts transparently and fairly during performance management.
- Drive performance management operational processes within the community.
- Monitor the rewards and recognition process, collaborating with the operations team for necessary changes.
- Motivate leads and managers to reward associates appropriately and on time.
- Keep your resume and skill profiles updated in HCM and My Career App.
- Mentor teams to update skill profiles and highlight new skills to home managers.
- Undergo talent profiling to benchmark yourself within the community.
- Understand competency proficiency role mapping and solicit performance feedback.
- Communicate project expectations clearly and provide guidance to ensure task delivery.
- Participate actively in providing assistance and engage with members to understand their challenges.
- Make practical commitments and highlight any dependencies or risks.
- Seek feedback from peers and managers to ensure continuous improvement.
- Understand and track relevant metrics that impact business outcomes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in AWS Cloud, Azure Services, Ethereum, Spring Boot, Node.js, Java, Web3.js, Quorum, GoLang, Blockchain, and PL/SQL.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
