Job Description:
ServiceNow is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled individual for the role of Software Quality Engineer. This position is perfect for those who are passionate about software quality and automation. As a Software Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our automation test frameworks, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
Job Role:
- Maintain and improve existing automation test frameworks.
- Collect and report quality metrics derived from test execution.
- Collaborate with developers to design and automate specific testing strategies for new features.
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring thorough automation.
- Support engineering teams in troubleshooting and addressing issues with applications and development/test environments.
Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Additional Requirements and Suggestions:
- 0+ years of experience with relevant technologies and coding skills that deliver high-quality results.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Java, JUnit, Selenium, TestNG, and other open-source projects.
- Familiarity with the agile methodology for software development.
- Understanding of various testing techniques (performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths, and application.
- Proficiency with tools such as IDEs, debuggers, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, and system administration/Unix tools.
Experience:
- Fresh graduates or professionals with up to 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
