Job Description:
Cognizant is seeking enthusiastic and skilled candidates for the role of DevOps Engineer Associate in Chennai. This role is designed for those passionate about automation, continuous integration, and infrastructure management, providing an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects.
Responsibilities:
- Build and Release Automation:
- Implement continuous integration and deployment solutions for small to medium-sized projects.
- Develop packaging and deployment documentation and scripts for production deployments.
- Participate in the discovery phase of projects to create high-level designs.
- Infrastructure Automation:
- Develop playbooks/cookbooks for configuration management.
- Install and manage tools on cloud infrastructure.
- Address complex hypervisor and networking issues.
- Configure advanced storage setups.
- Log Management Solutions:
- Configure listeners and develop complex search queries.
- Install and perform administrative activities on log management tools.
- Develop custom scripts for enhanced log management.
Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements:
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps concepts.
- Experience with Azure is a plus.
